Main Street: Police arrested a Bronx couple with 15 plastic bags of crack and the driver who was chauffeuring them around in his gypsy cab while they were engaging in drug transactions Wednesday, police said. Police said Carisma T. Thomas, 24, of 4014 Carpenter Ave., and Jason R. Hill, 23, of 3829 Bronxwood Ave., were charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies. The unlicensed taxi driver, Jermaine Palmer, 23, of 3114 Tiemann Ave., Bronx, was charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. Police said Palmer was aware that the couple had drugs and were looking to sell.
